About Us

Bybee Pottery is now owned and operated by the sixth generation Cornelison Family. Jim Cornelison mines clay near by the pottery, makes pottery on the wheel, pours molds, glazes pottery and fires the beautiful pieces in a large kiln that holds about 1500 pieces.

The Bybee, KY sales room is now closed to the public however, Cousin, Ron Stambaugh has Little Bit of Bybee in Middletown, Kentucky (a suburb of Louisville) where all the pottery is sold. Ron makes a trip to Bybee 1 to 2 times per week to assist Jim with glazing, setting and unloading the kiln. And of course bringing the pottery back to Little Bit of Bybee for customers to purchase.

Bybee Pottery has only family members involved and is continuing the long handmade pottery tradition.
